住在中本新村的時光是快樂無憂的，後來徐瑋家由板橋搬到中和，所以小學徐瑋正式就讀於中和附近的 (
光仁小學 ).。
在中和的居處中，雖然沒有蔗園，但是卻有一座 ( 饅頭山 )，徐瑋記得那時每當放學回家，,第一件是就是跑去爬 (饅頭山 )，大前年徐瑋去中和時，還特別去看望一下小時候(龐大無比)的 ( 饅頭山 )，往日情懷一一浮現眼前,心中的感慨自是難以形容的。

徐瑋自己描寫小時候的長像並不怎麼好看，兩顆大門牙當中有個縫，笑起來或講話事那個縫會變得明顯,那時的樣子，誰也沒想到.長大後的他,會是一個如此俊秀的男孩。
.國小時候雖然長得不怎麼樣，但是功課是一直不錯的，在小學時期曾當過衛生股長與康樂股長，最擅長的科目是修女所教的英文。
中學時，徐瑋讀的是(海山國中)，國一時,，由於從國小轉到一個新的環境，,所以A型的徐瑋顯得很文靜，,不愛講話.，到了國二時由於朋友多了，,對學校的環境也熟悉了，,所以徐瑋變得相當的活躍,，而由於長的不錯的關係 ( 男大十八變嘛 ! )，徐瑋這個時期經常接到女生寫給他的情書。
雖然寫信給徐瑋的女生不少，但是他卻唯獨鐘於一個他一直都沒有講過話的女生，這個女生長的很清秀，個性很很內向文靜，跟徐瑋是同一年級，女生的教室在一樓，徐瑋的教室在二樓，每當升旗典禮要排隊時，他就禁不住要偷看她幾眼，不過或許年紀小膽量不夠的原故，徐瑋始終不敢過去跟這位女生講話或打招呼。
